AT&T* has expanded its 5G network in south St. Louis County, giving residents, businesses and visitors a big boost in their wireless connectivity. A new cell tower will enhance the area’s coverage and capacity, and help customers unlock the power of America’s Most Reliable 5G Network1.
This new site will enhance AT&T’s coverage and capacity in Bella Villa, Lemay, Patch and surrounding areas.
“In today’s world, the availability of advanced wireless service can be a lifeline for individuals and families, keeping them connected to education, public resources and commerce,” said state Sen. Doug Beck (District 1). “That’s why I continually work for public policies that encourage private investment in technology. I am pleased to see those efforts pay off with this improved wireless coverage.”
The new site will also bring Band 14 spectrum to the area. Band 14 is nationwide, high-quality spectrum set aside by the government specifically for FirstNet. We look at Band 14 as public safety’s VIP lane. In an emergency, this band – or lane – can be cleared and locked just for FirstNet subscribers. When not in use by FirstNet subscribers, AT&T customers can enjoy Band 14’s added coverage and capacity.

From 2020 to 2022, AT&T invested more than $3.1 billion in its wireless and wireline networks in Missouri. These investments boost reliability, coverage, speed and overall performance for residents and their businesses.
