At AT&T, we’re investing in our fiber and 5G networks across Missouri – and across the country – to better connect Missourians to each other and the world.  

We have a special responsibility to our first responders – the friends and neighbors who wear the coat of public service and work every day, around the clock to keep our communities safe. 

As part of our ongoing investments and buildout in the state, we added more new cell sites to expand 5G coverage and capacity across Missouri, helping public safety on FirstNet®, residents and businesses get more from their mobile devices. The new sites boost coverage, capacity and speed in the following areas.

Joplin Area

• Nevada around Interstate 49 and the Marmaton River 

Kansas City Area

• Independence around Highway 24 and I-435 
• Kearney around Jesse James Farm Road and NE 140th Street 
• Gladstone around Brooktree Lane and Antioch Lane
• Oregon around Route 111 and Route 59 and Interstate 29

Mid Missouri Area

• Southeast of Knob Noster near Whitman AFB
• Hale around Highway J and Main Street in the southwestern part of town

St. Louis Area

• Wentzville around North Point High School campus

Rolla Area 

• Rolla south of I-44 and around Oak Meadow Drive

These sites support first responders and the extended public safety community on FirstNet, Built with AT&T – America’s public safety network – with Band 14 spectrum.  We look at Band 14 as public safety’s VIP lane, delivering dedicated connectivity when needed. When not in use by FirstNet subscribers, AT&T customers can enjoy Band 14’s added coverage and capacity.  

Created by the U.S. Congress after 9/11 and built by AT&T in public-private partnership with the FirstNet Authority, FirstNet is the only nationwide communications platform purpose-built for public safety.
