AT&T has contributed $50,000 to Stand for Children Louisiana, a non-profit organization focused on ensuring all students receive a high quality, relevant education, to support the ongoing efforts to maintain and improve education opportunities for Louisiana’s underserved young people.
“This support from AT&T and the continuing engagement from the business community is vital to our continuing efforts in Louisiana to cultivate more promising futures for Louisiana’s students,” said Carrie Griffin Monica, Executive Director of Stand for Children – Louisiana.
Stand for Children Louisiana is an established education nonprofit that seeks to create a brighter future for every child by advocating for proven education policies.
“The work being done by Stand for Children Louisiana is critical to the future of our workforce and our communities, and they are a reliable and impactful organization that is making a tremendous difference in the lives of Louisiana’s youth,” said State Representative Ray Garofalo, Chairman of the House Education Committee.
With AT&T’s support, Stand for Children Louisiana will continue to cultivate relationships across the state, providing parents with the tools they need to effectively engage in the education policy debates at the state and local levels.
