What’s New?

  • March 14, 2023 | AT&T Helps Reading YMCA Tackle Digital Divide: As part of AT&T’s nationwide commitment to help bridge the digital divide, AT&T contributed $5,000 to the Reading Branch of YMCA to better connect the children, families and others served by the organization to digital resources. The support enabled the YMCA to purchase tablets, printers, and smart televisions to enable individuals to sharpen their digital skills, and access the Internet for education, telehealth, job search and more.
    • “In one simple act you have made a huge difference. We want to thank AT&T for their generous support to the YMCA’s Housing program.” – Gena Pina, Director of Social Service
    • “It was an act of kindness, and it really shows how much they care about the needs of the community.” Ryan Herrera, Executive Director of Social Service for the YMCA
    • “The pandemic heightened the challenges faced by children, families and other adults who lacked the connectivity and resources to learn remotely; search for work; boost their technological literacy; and otherwise stay connected to society, with under-resourced communities hit particularly hard. AT&T is proud to team up with the YMCA in Reading to help provide these important digital resources for the individuals they serve every day.” – La Tara Harris, director of External Affairs for AT&T in Pennsylvania.
