Our veterans deserve the utmost gratitude for their service and some local veterans received a small token of appreciation this month. Michigan veterans who attended the Jackson County Fair this year received free admission to the annual event, thanks to a $5,000 sponsorship from AT&T.
AT&T Michigan has been a long-time sponsor of Veteran’s Day at the Jackson County Fair and presented a check to fair officials alongside state Rep. Sarah Lightner last week. The sponsorship was part of AT&T’s longstanding commitment to supporting military, veterans and their families. Over the last 5 years, AT&T Michigan has donated more than $20 million to programs that support Michigan military, veterans and their families.
The Jackson County Fair took place Aug. 7-13 on the Jackson County Fairgrounds in Mid-Michigan.
