Identity Authentication: The Next Layer of Protection in a Robust Cybersecurity Strategy

2021 has been a watershed year in cybersecurity, with three large-scale cyberattacks reported in just the first few months of the year. A series of ransomware attacks came shortly thereafter, confirming the assumption that attackers are more brazen then ever before.

The White House has responded with an Executive Order that includes multifactor authentication and identity management as key components to improve the nation’s cybersecurity posture. How have approaches to identity management changed?  How have large corporations and network providers changed cybersecurity strategies to address these new threats?

The event will feature keynote addresses from Carole House, Director of Cybersecurity and Secure Digital Innovation, White House National Security Council, and Willliam O’Hern, Chief Security Officer, AT&T.

The keynote addresses will be followed by a panel discussion, featuring:

  • Diane Rinaldo, Senior Vice President, Beacon Global Strategies (Moderator)
  • Ben Flatgard, Executive Director for Cybersecurity,  JPMorgan Chase & Co.
  • Jeremy Grant, Managing Director of Technology Business Strategy, Venable & Coordinator, Better Identity Coalition
  • Alex Schlager, CEO, ZenKey
