AT&T and Employees Making an Impact in the Mesa Community

One of my favorite things about working for AT&T is having the privilege to see the impact our employees are making right here in Arizona.

So many of our fellow Arizonans are struggling with food insecurity. That’s why we stepped up to help our friends and neighbors by hosting a food drive for House of Refuge at four of our retail stores in the Valley. AT&T customers and employees have generously donated food for the past two weeks.

Friday, I joined other AT&T employees to donate food to House of Refuge and pack food boxes for families experiencing homelessness. We also announced a $5,000 contribution to House of Refuge to help the organization expand their efforts. Mesa Mayor John Giles stopped by to meet with our employees and highlight the critical work, House of Refuge does for families in our community.

I am so proud of our employees and their commitment to connecting our community.  From going the extra mile to provide fiber to lending a hand to help families in need. And I am so grateful for the team at House of Refuge, and the great work they are doing to help families transition from homelessness. We are happy that we could do our part to support their efforts.
