Everything we do is with connection in mind. More connection means more opportunity and more possibility for cities, counties and states across the country.
In Wisconsin, we invested nearly 1.4 billion in our network infrastructure from 2019-2023 to connect more people to greater possibility. We’re working to expand access to broadband to as many residents as possible.
Here’s the latest on how we’re making it happen.
Public-Private Projects

AT&T has been selected to expand AT&T Fiber to 618 residential and business locations in the Village of Egg Harbor as part of a nearly $3.7 million public-private project.

This public-private investment plays a crucial role in shaping a brighter future for our community and the expansion of AT&T Fiber in the Village of Egg Harbor is exciting news.”

“Connecting everyone to fast and reliable internet is a core mission of ours,” said Robyn Gruner, Director of External Affairs, AT&T Wisconsin. “Through our collaboration with the Village of Egg Harbor, we are excited to make high-speed broadband and all its benefits available to every home and business location in the village, helping bridge the digital divide.”

New Site Builds
May 4, 2023 | AT&T Boosts Network Speeds for Plum City
AT&T has expanded its 5G network in Plum City, giving residents, businesses and visitors a big boost in their wireless connectivity. We’ve added a new cell tower in Plum City to enhance the area’s coverage and capacity, and help customers unlock the power of America’s Most Reliable 5G Network.
This new site in Plum City will provide coverage when traveling along U.S. Highway 10 and 290th Avenue in the area.
Why is this important? We know how important it is for our customers to stay connected. And AT&T 5G brings fast, reliable and secure connectivity to more than 290 million people in over 24,000 cities and towns nationwide, which includes Plum City and Durand. This helps Wisconsin residents and businesses get the best possible experience over the AT&T network wherever they live, work and play.
These enhancements also bring Band 14 spectrum to the area. Band 14 is nationwide, high-quality spectrum set aside by the government specifically for FirstNet. We look at Band 14 as public safety’s VIP lane. In an emergency, this band – or lane – can be cleared and locked just for FirstNet subscribers. When not in use by FirstNet subscribers, AT&T customers can enjoy Band 14’s added coverage and capacity.

AT&T customers and FirstNet® subscribers in St. Croix County got a big boost in wireless connectivity. We’ve added new cell towers in New Richmond and Somerset to enhance the area’s coverage and help give residents and first responders faster, more reliable wireless service.
A new site on the west side of New Richmond will provide coverage when traveling along Wisconsin State Highway 64 and 110th Street in the area. A new site just southwest of Somerset will provide coverage along Wisconsin State Highways 35/64 and Anderson Scout Camp Trail. Our investment is helping improve internet access and ensuring customers get the most out of their mobile devices.
