At AT&T, we believe modern connectivity creates opportunity. That’s why I’m proud to share an important milestone for our state: AT&T Fiber is now available to more than 3.5 million homes and small businesses across Florida.

This achievement reflects years of investment and collaboration with local leaders, communities, and customers. Between 2021 and 2025, AT&T invested nearly $5.7 billion in our Florida wireless and wireline networks to expand access, strengthen reliability and prepare for the growing demand for connectivity. As Florida continues to grow, we’re making sure our networks grow with it.

Our recent acquisition of substantially all of Lumen’s Mass Markets Fiber Business is helping us build on that momentum. Out of the nearly one million locations across the Orlando area that have access to fiber, more than 214,000 are part of that transition. Looking ahead, we expect to increase our Florida fiber build plans by more than one-third compared with 2025, allowing us to reach even more communities across the state.

Fiber is about much more than faster internet speeds. The future will demand more from your internet and as AI and other data-intensive technologies become part of everyday life, fast, reliable connectivity will matter more than ever. AT&T Fiber delivers symmetrical upload and download speeds to keep up with today’s demands and brace for what’s next. Just as important, expanding broadband infrastructure helps strengthen local economies and creates new opportunities for communities across Florida.

That opportunity was front and center as we gathered in Orlando with community leaders to celebrate this milestone. Their message was clear: strong digital infrastructure helps communities attract investment, support workforce development, and bridge the digital divide so more Floridians can participate in today’s economy. Those collaborations are essential to our success and to Florida’s continued growth.
