"Today’s allocation of Broadband Equity Access and Deployment (BEAD) funds by NTIA to every state is a momentous next step to ensure every American has access to high-speed internet. With the help of the FCC’s latest broadband maps, the program enables each state to precisely identify locations lacking reliable, high-speed internet and develop a plan to distribute those funds to broadband providers to connect hard-to-reach communities. We look forward to participating in future BEAD funding opportunities and doing what we can to help close the country’s remaining broadband gaps."
