Providing valuable resources to help communities grow is a vital part of the work we do. At AT&T, we’re dedicated to supporting and collaborating with our public safety community, whether through FirstNet®, Built with AT&T or by hosting digital safety workshops. By working together, we help enhance the overall safety and well-being of all those in our community.
Through the FirstNet Health and Wellness Program, we partner with some of the nation’s top public safety wellness organizations, including Massachusetts-based O2X, to host workshops that help first responders maintain and improve their health and wellness.
Recently, wellness events were hosted in Massachusetts by Millis Fire, Bristol County Chiefs of Police, Boston Police, Duxbury Fire, Northeastern University, and other public safety organizations. These collaborations offer a diverse mix of services, tools, training, and resources.
In Massachusetts, we’re also co-hosting free digital safety workshops with the Boston Police Department to equip older Americans with methods to protect themselves against scams, fraud, robocalls, and more. Over the past year, we’ve helped more than 700 older Americans across Massachusetts build upon necessary skills through presentations – and this spring, we’re holding events in West Springfield, Agawam, Cohasset, among other locations across the state.
Whether you’re learning the basics or improving your awareness, these workshops help encourage confidence while navigating this digital age. At AT&T, supporting the success, safety, and well-being of first responders and those in our community remains a top priority, and we’re honored to continue advancing these programs throughout Massachusetts.
