The following may be attributed to Joan Marsh, AT&T Executive Vice President of Regulatory & State External Affairs:
“We are pleased that the FCC upheld its 2017 decision to provide nationwide regulatory relief for business broadband transport services. The Commission affirmed, as the evidence shows, that there is widespread competition for these services from cable and other competitive providers. Indeed, this market has become even more competitive in the two years since its previous decision.
“Today, the Commission also makes significant strides toward removing outdated regulatory controls on unbundled transport facilities. We applaud the Commission for rationalizing the rules governing these facilities in the face of a highly competitive marketplace.”
