What can 5G do for business in Connecticut? A lot. First and foremost, analysis from industry group CTIA claims that 5G will spark more than 40,000 new jobs in Connecticut over the next decade.i But 5G will also change how Connecticut works.

WATER Farmers will be able to use smart-irrigation connected technology that lets growers monitor and analyze soil moisture, as well as plan and control irrigation with pinpoint accuracy to increase yield and conserve resources. Read more.
ENERGY 5G connections will enable municipalities to plan energy infrastructure spending more efficiently and reduce downtime. Smart grid technology, for example, will enable precise, real-time monitoring. This can help speed up repairs and reduce downtime following an outage or natural disaster.
There are near limitless ways 5G technology can positively impact the business community, enabling the use of next generation technology to support innovation, economic development, and environmental sustainability.
