The Texas House Ways & Means Committee needs to add HB 2825 to their hearing schedule ASAP! The legislative session is more than halfway over and we’re running out of time to pass legislation that would help connect more Texans to broadband and provide a sales tax exemption on telecom equipment purchases.

By connecting more Texans to broadband, HB 2825 would drive further private investment and innovation in new products and services, fueling connectivity and job creation and generating additional state revenue. It also allows Texas to remain the #1 pro-business state.
