Introducing Believe Salt Lake

Mental wellness is a key factor in a person’s ability to navigate social and economic settings, and access to resources necessary for individuals to elevate their social capital and economic security.

On September 30, we virtually launched Believe Salt Lake℠, an initiative to promote awareness and generate support around mental wellness in Utah. With Believe Salt Lake, AT&T is bringing together its leadership, employees and resources to work alongside nonprofits to help mitigate this issue. We highlighted two community partners during the launch: SafeUT and Encircle.

Encircle stands as a beacon of hope where LGBTQ+ individuals can find understanding, information, and support within their families and communities. They have homes in Salt Lake, Provo, and St. George where individuals and families can receive help and counseling. To learn more about volunteer opportunities and their programs, click here.

SafeUT is a resource for Utah students, parents, and educators. The SafeUT Crisis Text and Tip Line is a statewide service that provides real-time crisis intervention through texting and a confidential tip program. Click here to learn more about SafeUT’s resources, or download the SafeUT app from the app store.

For immediate mental health crisis help, please use the chat feature or call 833-372-3388 (833-3SAFEUT).
