FCC Continues Implementation of Robocall Blocking Statute

The following may be attributed to Joan Marsh, AT&T Executive Vice President of Regulatory & State External Affairs:

“We appreciate the FCC’s continued efforts to implement the TRACED Act and help the industry and law enforcement combat unwanted and illegal calls. The Commission’s action provides further guidance as we work with the Industry Traceback Group, deploy the STIR/SHAKEN framework and enhance blocking and labeling tools to protect consumers.  Our network monitoring and blocking processes – including AT&T Call Protect, a free call blocking and labeling tool currently used by millions of customers – have protected customers from billions of suspected fraudulent calls.”
