AT&T Statement on FCC Action to Protect VoIP Services from Discriminatory Fees

The following may be attributed to Joan Marsh, AT&T Executive Vice President of Regulatory & State External Affairs:

“AT&T supports the Commission’s action today to protect VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) services from discriminatory treatment. Today, the FCC confirmed that 911 charges for VoIP customers must be comparable for consumers purchasing traditional telephone services, further encouraging adoption of IP voice services.”
