AT&T Joins New Policy Coalition to Advance 5G Supply Chain Innovation and Deployment

Today, AT&T joined a coalition to advocate for government policies that promote the adoption of interoperable solutions for further innovation of the 5G supply chain in the Radio Access Network (RAN). Multi-vendor 5G deployments enable a more competitive marketplace and give network operators greater flexibility to draw on the innovations of multiple suppliers to upgrade their infrastructure with the latest technology.

The following may be attributed to Chris Boyer, AT&T Vice President of Global Public Policy:

“As 5G is now a reality and expanding to millions of Americans, it is more critical than ever to have a diverse and even more secure American communications network. We are proud to be a founding member of the Open RAN Policy Coalition to advance the adoption of interoperable RAN solutions. Ensuring an innovative and trusted global 5G supply chain in the United States and globally is a priority for us.”
