AT&T* has expanded its 5G network in Claremore, giving residents, businesses and visitors a big boost in their wireless connectivity. A new cell tower along Maiden Lane will enhance the area’s coverage and capacity, and help customers unlock the power of America’s Most Reliable 5G Network.1
“Access to quality broadband services, especially in rural Oklahoma, is fundamental to increasing critical outcomes,” said State Senator Ally Seifried. “Broadband is essential to almost every aspect in modern life. Without the infrastructure to communicate and connect in today’s rapidly advancing world, children will fall behind, businesses will struggle, and communities will suffer. For these reasons and more we must continue to prioritize broadband expansion and ensure every individual has the tools needed to thrive.”

The new site will also bring Band 14 spectrum to the area. Band 14 is nationwide, high-quality spectrum set aside by the government specifically for FirstNet®. We look at Band 14 as public safety’s VIP lane. In an emergency, this band – or lane – can be cleared and locked just for FirstNet subscribers. When not in use by FirstNet subscribers, AT&T customers can enjoy Band 14’s added coverage and capacity.
